Starting Point
I went to the Masculinities: Liberation through Photography exhibition in the Barbican Centre and start to really think about my relationship with masculinities. For the final project, I want to discuss and manifest my definition of masculinity using my experience of Asian queer identity.
I started to experience my inner sense of femininity and masculinity through makeup and fashion using photography.

Digital Collages
Due to lacking materials in quarantine, I changed my way a little bit around creating. I am used to making collages to initiate new ideas, but this time I tried using photoshop to make it.
Final Outcome
The outcome is a series of films covering three men, including myself, on their relationship with masculinities. I followed and pictured thier daily life as men in the modern world. Using our voice, I hope we could tell our story that would change the modern notion of masculinity, which is always changing.
